Abstract
A light-emitting component comprises a substrate (1), a light-emitting layer (5), and a charge carrier transport layer (7) p-doped with an organic material. Preferred Features: A blocking layer is formed between the transport layer and the light-emitting layer. An electron transport layer is arranged between a cathode (2) and the light-emitting layer. The electron transport layer is doped. The transport layer is made from an organic main substance and an acceptor-like doping substance.
