Software reuse is a well-known paradigm for building effective and efficient software systems. This paradigm is transferable for the creation of software algorithms in a geospatial context, as well. These algorithms and the respective executable implementations are produced in many scientific projects, open source initiatives or commercial products. A lightweight approach for exchanging these components between different instances is desirable. This paper presents a concept for exchanging algorithms on a community marketplace. The approach enables users to interchange their algorithms and perform basic quality management.
