Abstract

Investigations on porcine eyes by Brillouin-Raman spectroscopy and polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography revealed that mechanical stiffening of corneal cross-linking therapy is based on fiber alignment and hydration, but not on changes in the molecular structure.
