Abstract

The DFG founded science project determined the interaction of draft force and work results of wedge shaped tools. Four different basic wedge types were used with different geometry and process parameters. The work results of the tool are described by cross-section profile analysis of the incurred soil profile and the soil aggregate size distribution of the top soil layer. The effects on draft force and work result are shown in statistic regression analysis.
