Abstract
The rising demand for autonomous microelectronics drives the need for miniaturized, high-capacity power devices. In a recent issue of Matter, Li et al. reported quasi-solid-state Zn//I2 microbatteries utilizing a 2I−/I2/2I+ reaction to achieve ultra-high areal capacity,1 advancing next-generation microdevice energy solutions.
