Abstract

Wood fiber-based materials are made of mechanically, thermo-mechanically, or chemo-thermo-mechanically separated wood fiber pulp. The products that consist of wood fiber pulp are either produced in dry process - such as medium-density fiberboards (MDF), insulation boards, and molded fiberboards - or in wet process - such as wet fiberboards, insulation boards, and molded fiberboards. Different product specific market data, properties and standards, raw materials, and production technologies are provided.
