Abstract
The spectrum and origin of commensal bacterial HLA epitopes is not well understood. In this issue of Immunity, Pedersen et al. provide a systematic analysis of commensal bacterial HLA II epitopes and demonstrate plasticity of corresponding CD4+ T cell responses.
