Abstract
We here correct the formulation of the linear system to be solved in each time step of the proposed numerical scheme. Considering the same notation as in Sec. III. Numerical Approach of Porrmann and Voigt (2024), the proposed linear systemto advance the solution from time tn-1 to tn should read (Formula presented) The third equation was missing in Porrmann and Voigt (2024). All other formulas are correct, and also the numerical results and the provided code are based on the correct formulation.
