Abstract
In Germany Battery Electric Multiple Units will enter commercial operation from 2023. In addition to the accumulators, the contact point between the contact strip and the contact wire is decisive for limiting the charging capacity. In a diploma thesis at the Technical University Dresden, measuring investigations were carried out on how the interface can be adapted for higher charging capacities. In addition, recommendations for new limit values were derived.
