Abstract

The device (1) has a layer arrangement (10) attached on a substrate (13). A light emitting layer (16) is formed from an organic material and arranged between electrode layers (12, 14). An intermediate layer (18) includes an optical grid structure and is arranged between the emitting layer and one of the electrode layers. A main surface (18c) of the intermediate layer is turned towards the emitting layer and planarly designed in a region of the structure within a tolerance range. The intermediate layer is sectionally conductively designed between the main surface and another main surface (18d). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a light emission device.
