The focus of this paper, which is actually more of a workshop report, is the phenomenon of (syntactic) negation in German, specifically in connection with the modeling of a semantically motivated constructicon, which can claim particular relevance in current construction grammatical research. The paper is fundamentally based on considerations of “construction grammar and frame semantics”. Starting point is the classification of negation as a modal category, which from a construction grammatical point of view allows entanglement and inheritance of features of constructions of different levels of a network on the basis of the perspectivization performance of constructions.
