Abstract
For the examination of mixing processes in turbulent flows a system based on a high-speed solid state camera has been implemented, which allows for the quasi-simultaneous acquisition of sequences of tomography data in flows. In these data, velocity fields are being determined by three-dimensional least squares matching. The paper will show the hardware configuration for the flow tomography data sequence acquisition and the algorithm for 3-D least squares matching with additional constraints for tracking in tomography voxel data.
