Abstract
(c) Thieme. All rights reserved.
Patient-centered depression treatment should always include cardinal measures - as a stand-alone or as a complementary therapy. Cardinal measures are accessible and uncomplicated therapy elements that are suitable for any degree of illness severity and in all treatment settings. They promote active participation in therapy, strengthen personal responsibility, and contribute to a higher success rate of depression treatment. (translated by DeepL)
