Demo: Deterministic Radio Propagation Simulation for Integrated Communication Systems in Multimodal Intelligent Transportation Scenarios

Abstract

This demo addressed the need for immersive and digitized evaluation of future integrated and joint communication systems within the scope of multimodal Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). We present a model-based, deterministic ray-tracing simulation tool aiming to enable adaptable, technology- and hardware-independent as well as scenario-specific testing of radio interconnection, localization and sensing capabilities.
