Abstract
The overarching goal of the project INF is to develop and host the research data
management (RDM) infrastructure to address reproducibility, data sharing, and
collaboration within the CRC1415, to provide training for researchers adhering the FAIR principles, and to homogenize several heterogeneous RDM solutions. To achieve this goal, this project has four objectives: 1) installation and maintenance of NOMAD Oasis on a scalable server infrastructure for storing and instantly sharing all research data within the CRC1415, 2) development, implementation and maintenance of interfaces to common public research data repositories and downlinks to electronic lab notebooks, 3) development of digital links to the various experimental instruments available to CRC1415, 4) specific and general training of researchers and PIs on RDM and open science policy. On the short-term perspective the RDM infrastructure shall be implemented and the most important application programming interfaces will become accessible within the CRC1415 to establish a robust data flow in the scientific domain. In the long run the RDM infrastructure will become a central element of the natural science research at TUD and the DRESDEN-concept partners. The project INF provides integral services to all projects of the CRC1415 in all aspects of RDM and data life cycle.
