Abstract

The correct composition of the Eu-doped LSCO single crystals obtained in both growth experiments described in the Article is La1.72Eu0.2Sr0.08CuO4. The images and data shown in Figures 2–6 correspond to a composition of La1.72Eu0.2Sr0.08CuO4 instead of La1.66Eu0.2Sr0.14CuO4. The data shown in Table 1 in the original publication do not correspond to the samples shown in Figures 2–6 but to different batches with composition La1.66Eu0.2Sr0.14CuO4.SC1.1: single crystal, obtained in the first growth at a laser power of 10.5%; SC1.2: single crystal, obtained in the first growth at a laser power of 11.0%; and SC2: single crystal, obtained in the second growth at a laser power of 10.5%. The compositional data for the studied samples are presented in the corrected Table 1 herein and are in good agreement with the nominal feed rod composition. As the refinement of the XRD data originally presented in the paper was performed assuming a composition of La1.66Eu0.2Sr0.14CuO4, we carried out a new refinement of these data using the correct composition, La1.72Eu0.2Sr0.08CuO4. The results of the new refinement are provided in Table 2. Note that the values obtained for the lattice parameters a, b and c remain unchanged, and only slight differences are observed in the values of the displacement parameters for the atoms in sites 8f and 4a.
