Abstract

Educational escape rooms provide a unique opportunity for collecting research data on students’ problem-solving strategies in different types of riddles. We present ideas with examples from our project “CS Eduscape”. By logging students’ interactions with the riddles, we can gain insights into their approaches and identify common strategies and challenges. In the long term, we aim to better understand problem-solving approaches and draw conclusions for the design of effective learning experiences.
