Abstract

The invention relates to a coating device (100) which is configured for coating a substrate (1), comprising an injection chamber (10) which is arranged for receiving a coating material (2), and a diffuser device (20) which encloses the injection chamber (10) on several sides, and which is arranged for transmitting the coating material (2) from the injection chamber (10) into several spatial directions into a work environment of the coating device (100), in order to provide the coating material (2) in the work environment of the coating device (100) in a gaseous state, wherein the diffuser device (20) comprises an outer surface (21) which has a spatial form and is can be heated. The invention also relates to a method for coating a substrate (1), in which the coating device (100) is used.
