Abstract
This study demonstrates Functional Compression (FC) using a real-time control application. We deploy FC across the network using a ball-balancing robot with vision-based control. We exhibit seamless migration of visual computation between numerous edge cloud servers while the robot continues to balance the ball. The following demonstration showcases one of the earliest applications of FC while emphasizing the importance of beyond-Shannon technology.
