Abstract

We utilize pump-probe spectroscopy at pressures in the GPa range to measure the quasiparticle relaxation dynamics of BaFe2As2. The results reveal the pressure dependences of the spin-density wave condensate energy and the photoexcited quasiparticle lifetimes.
