Abstract

The goal of this research is to find out about different points, concepts and conclusions that go into the analysis of a strategy and how can a strategy be brought to perfection over time. Furthermore, the financial markets are explained to point out that it remains a key notion in working with, defining and understanding strategies. Based on a review of the literature on the trading psychology and theories about the underlying feelings of greed, fear, hope and regret that move the stock market, it was comprehensively and thoroughly gone in-depth of these. On this basis, the results of this research indicate that not only the analysis of the inflection point strategy yielded a slightly profitable result but also it was brought to light that the strategy needs broader examination and points of view for it to be profitable. For this reason, further designing and research are required to identify other factors that could strengthen the effectiveness of this strategy.
