Abstract
Additive manufacturing (AM) offers the potential to flexibly produce components optimised according to load path and material in small batches. A fundamental challenge in transferring AM into resource-efficient, economic and reliable industrial application is a lack of systematised knowledge of process-structure-property relationships (PSPR). The rapidly advancing digitalisation in materials and production technology enables completely new approaches in this context. This article outlines selected methods for acquiring and analysing a continuous database as the basis for PSPR of Ti-6Al-4V as part of the AMTwin project.
