100 ns quasi-light-storage of 8 bit data sequences at 1Gbps

Abstract
We propose a new approach for the storage of 8bit optical data bursts based on quasi-light-storage method. We achieved storage time of 100ns using conventional telecommunication components with the ability of fine and coarse tuning.
