Dear Dr. Lindner,
Greetings from Nepal! I hope you are keeping yourself safe and sound in these challenging times. Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh and Institute of Forestry and Environmental Science, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, and the TERI School of Advanced Studies, India have partnered to undertake joint research on, “Towards sustainable urban water management in Hindukush Himalayan (HKH) Region: a participatory approach to improving water security in mountain cities” as part of the grant received under the Asia Pacific Network (APN) for Global Change Research, Japan. I have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in inception workshop on 22 April, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Nepali Standard Time. We recognize your engagement with the APN research team members, and we would greatly value your participation and contributions to the workshop. In the workshop, we will have panel discussion on "The Looming Himalayan Water Crisis and the Challenges, Prospects and Opportunities for Moving towards Sustainable Urban Water Management". We will share knowledge, experience and skills on the subject matter both in global and regional context. We will use this information to design strategies and interventions. The workshop will be held through Zoom.
