Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of "Engineering for Sustainability in Lightweight Systems" and learn about methods, approaches, technologies and application examples for new sustainability-oriented product and system development. A special focus will be on the consideration of the entire value chain and the product life cycle of lightweight engineering systems in order to enable a resource-efficient use and handling of lightweight materials. Be part of the M2BRIDGE Summer School 2025 in Patras (Greece), learn more about the latest developments in this field and exchange ideas with Greek and German experts from industry and science. The German-Greek project M2BRIDGE of the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK), TU Dresden and the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics (MEAD), UPAT is organizing an exciting summer school on questions of sustainability-oriented design, layout and handling of lightweight construction systems from 23 to 26 September 2025. Participation for students is limited to a total of 20 places for ten excellent students/doctoral students from TU Dresden and UPAT respectively.
