The EU Open Data Days 2025, held on 19–20 March 2025 at the European Convention Centre in Luxembourg (ECCL) and broadcast online, brought together a vibrant community of data providers, analysts, policymakers, academics, and open data advocates from across Europe and beyond.

Organised by the Publications Office of the European Union and the team at data.europa.eu, the official portal for European data, the event showcased how open data is transforming transparency, innovation, policymaking, and society as a whole.

From AI and metadata to policy, business reuse, visualisation, and data literacy, the EU Open Data Days 2025 delivered powerful insights, best practices, and creative energy that will continue to ripple through the open data community.

Participants praised the event as extremely well organised and content-wise outstanding, calling it “the most important event on open data in Europe.” The diversity and quality of the programme, speakers, and presentations left a lasting impression.

289 people attended the event on site in Luxembourg, while the online broadcast gathered over 2 300 views across the two days.
