Abstract
The University Allergy Center (UAC) at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden was certified as a Comprehensive Allergy Center for the first time in 2020 and recertified in 2021. Founding members were the Clinic and Polyclinic for Dermatology, Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine, Pediatric Medicine and Medical Clinic I – Pneumology. Aims and structures of the UAC as well as clinical and scientific priorities are described in this article.
