Abstract
The need for providing ERP knowledge by teaching the concepts of ERP systems in university courses and, above all, the possibilities of using these systems themselves in courses are frequently discussed in literature. There are many ERP systems with different technologies and philosophies available on the market. Here, the universities face the challenge of choosing the "right" number of ERP systems, how to include them in the curriculum and to what extent / how deep each of the systems should be taught. Within this paper, as a curriculum example, we will describe the ERP curriculum at the / Dresden University of Technology / Technische Universität Dresden, its different ERP courses, and how the ERP systems are provided and taught. © 2012 IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
