Correction to: Nature Nanotechnologyhttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41565-023-01567-0, published online 3 January 2024. In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 4c, the units of the approach and transport velocities were erroneously listed as μm/min instead of μm s –1. This has now been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
