A Pilot Study on Reproducibility in Computing Education Research: Examining Ten Years of WiPSCE Papers

Publikation: Beitrag in Buch/Konferenzbericht/Sammelband/Gutachten › Beitrag in Konferenzband › Beigetragen › Begutachtung

Abstract

Reproducibility and replication have become central concerns in evaluating scientific rigor, yet the extent to which Computing Education Research (CER) publications support these practices remains largely unknown. Building on insights from replication efforts in other disciplines, this pilot study examines whether WiPSCE papers from the past decade provide the information required for reproducibility and replication. This initial assessment aims to support future Open Science practices and enhance the reliability of empirical claims in the field.
