The GUW+ power supply concept links the existing electric light rail infrastructure with the charging of electric road vehicles and offers additional functions for energy optimization. In a research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, a demonstrator is being set up and validated at the ÜSTRA in Hanover. Technical and operational requirements as well as the schedule of the validation phase had to be defined for the project.
