Abstract

The paper discusses the fabrication and implementation of novel graphene/silver composite-based sensors. The need for low-cost, printed sensors that can be applied in multiple strain-induced applications has been a need in the current scenario. Both graphene and silver have shown exceptional sensing capabilities due to their enhanced electrical and mechanical properties. Although they have been individually used in pure and composite forms, their integration in forming electrodes improves the performance to a great extent. The conjugation of two nanomaterials to form efficient, sensitive, flexible sensors is shown here. The results shown here form a podium for the sensors to be used for real-time strain-sensing applications.
