Providing researchers with FAIR, coherent, and open access to geospatial data developing innovative approaches for Earth System Sciences and related multidisciplinary use cases. Here, we provide a FAIR metrics profile for geospatial data, implemented as an extension for the FAIRsFAIR metrics. The task was motivated by GeoDCAT-AP activities, NFDI4Earth-developed service implementations, the NFDI4Earth Label, Open Geospatial Consortium activities, e.g., the GeoDCAT Standard Working Group or the 2024 Metadata Code Sprint, several use cases coming from research projects, like KlimaKonform.
