Despite their widely agreed-upon potential, digital health applications often fail to make the threshold into the German health care system. In the following and corresponding with the requirements posed on digital health applications by the newly installed BfARM fast track for introducing digital health applications into the German health care system, a collection of tangible measures is introduced in order to standardize the evaluation and implementation process of digital health care applications. Furthermore, a prototypical implementation process is visualized.
