Abstract
The COVID-19-Pandemic, which started in spring 2020 in Europe, changed the way we work radically. While working from home used to be a possibility of focused retreat for employees, it quickly became a temporary obligation. For companies, the question of a new normal statearises especially with regard to working methods and company locations. The presented research approach aims to explore corporate coworking as a potential new way of collaboration at companies. Besides a review of the development of coworking, the focus is on the design of a corporate coworking ecosystem. It will be described how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the research approach and how adaptations have been implemented. Finally, a presentation of first usage results and an outlook on next steps in the project follows. In long-term, the research project can help companies to design their company-specific user-centered work-ecosystem for the future with their own employees.
