Abstract
We report about a patient who developed papulovesicular lesions after a tick bite. A disseminated infection with borrelia and a bullous disease could be ruled out. Clinically as well as histologically we diagnosed a bullous Sweet's syndrome. Thus we induced a systemic therapy with corticosteroids under which the symptoms improved rapidly. Further diagnostic showed no indication of either an underlying hematological malignancy or a medicamentous trigger. This casuistry suggests that a bite of arthropodes has to be taken into consideration as a possible trigger for a Sweet's syndrome.
