Abstract
(C6H5)2N2P2 (N3)6 1 has been prepared and characterised by multinuclear NMR, vibrational spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray analysis; the normal modes of 1 have been calculated and the antisymmetric stretching vibration of the azide group has been discussed.
