Abstract
A new implement for cultivation and tillage called ROTAPULL is subject of the presentation. It features a new concept, which copes with current requirements on primary tillage, seed bed cultivation and conservation tillage. The concept is based on the functional combination of drawn cultivator tools and a driven horizontal tool rotor in one work zone. The essential first tool section is shortened to less than 1 m in depth. The centre of gravity of the implement moves closer to the tractor. The process of development as well as representative results from field tests with a prototype using a working width of 3 m are shown.
